Proudly Educating Grades 6 Through 12

HOPE 2025

Our 33 participants included 19 members of the CCHS Class of 2026. During the week of June 15-20, 2025, our CCHS volunteers installed metal roofs on two residences and assisted in the construction of a new house for our neighbors in need in Wayne County, WV. We thank all who generously supported our efforts through donations toward the purchase of building materials.

  • A group of thirteen people, some wearing work gloves and hats, smile together on and around wooden steps outside a building, surrounded by greenery, suggesting a community or volunteer project.
  • A group of five young adults and one older adult wearing construction gear and holding power drills smile for a selfie on a red metal roof with a Habitat for Humanity logo visible on a helmet.
  • Four people wearing gloves and hats are using power drills to assemble a red metal roof panel on a grassy lawn, with houses and trees in the background.
  • Four people work together installing or repairing a red metal roof. Three are kneeling with tools, while one stands near the edge. Green, tree-covered hills and houses are visible in the background under an overcast sky.
  • Three people work together to install a red metal roof, using drills and screws. They are on a house roof covered with roofing underlayment branded Grip Rite, surrounded by trees and houses in the background.
  • Two women are building a wooden deck, using tools to secure boards to the frame. Both are wearing work gloves and hats, focused on their tasks. A white tent and greenery are visible in the background.
  • Five people build a wooden ramp next to a beige house, using tools and a level to ensure alignment. They work together outdoors on a sunny day, surrounded by dirt and greenery.
  • Two girls wearing gloves and glasses measure a wooden plank together outdoors, using a pencil and ruler. A miter saw and cars are visible in the background. They appear focused and are working under a canopy.
